用健康的体魄迎接美好的明天

Dear leaders, teachers and students,

Good morning! Today our topic is <to welcome a better tomorrow with good health>

今天我讲话的题目是:《用健康的体魄迎接美好的明天》。

As we know, body quality is the most important one among a person’s qualities. However, many of us spend a lot of time in reading, doing homework and playing computer games, and we almost neglect the importance of PE lessons and exercises. So our physical conditions decline day by day. Many of us are easy to get dizzy and exhausted or simply feel dull.

在人的各方面素质中,身体素质是最重要的基础。现在有一些同学把大部分时间用于看书、写作业、玩电脑游戏,而忽视了上体育课和锻炼身体,身体素质自然下降。这些同学经常会头痛、头昏、容易疲劳、反应迟缓。

Experts from Tsinghua University reach an theory called “eight minus one is greater than eight”. It tells us that in an eight-hour working day, if we spend one hour in doing exercises, the effect will be better than working all day.

清华大学的专家提出了8-1>8的理论,意思是说:在一天8小时的学习时间里,抽出1小时用于体育锻炼,其学习效果将比8小时全部用于学习更好。

Besides paying attention to our physical healthwe should also pay attention to mental health. One good way is to fill yourself with a hope everyday, then you’ll be healthy and learn happily.

在参加身体锻炼的时候,我们也不要忘记心理的健康。每天给自己一个希望,在希望的阳光下,我们才能健康地学习与成长。

We can’t control the opportunities around us, but we can manage ourselves; we can’t predict the future, but we can get hold of the present; we can’t tell how long we’ll live, but we can make our life more meaningful. We can’t control the weather, but we can adjust our mood. You can be healthier if you smile more and feel happy everyday.

我们不能控制机遇,却可以掌握自己;我们无法预知未来,却可以把握现在;我们不知道自己的生命到底有多长,但我们可以安排好现在的生活;我们左右不了天气的变化,却可以调整自己的心情。每天给自己一个希望,让自己的心情放飞;每天给自己一个微笑,让我们拥有真正的健康。

A healthy body is the foundation of a good life. Only we are healthy we can do wha t we wish to. Nothing is more important than one’s health.

同学们,每个人都愿意拥有一切美好的事物,但这一切都是以健康的身体为前提的。如果离开了健康的身体,一切都将化为乌有。

A healthy mind comes in a healthy body, and hopes come with a magnificent physique.

只有健康的身体,才有健全的精神;只有健康的体魄,才是一切希望的开始。
